Private Paper Jam Workshop

This is where you book a private workshop at Paper Jam with all of your friends and family. We have a number of options available. For both adults and children. Please email Sarah at paperjamkaiapoi@gmail.com to organise a date and which private workshop option you would like to book.  You are welcome to bring along drinks and snacks. All workshops have light refreshments available.

Workshop options.

Adult/Teen workshops

Collage Workshop.  This is $38pp or $30 if you are a student/communityservices/gold cardholder. Minimum of 6 maximum of 14. A 3 hour workshop exploring the gorgeous medium of collage. The studio allows you to immerse yourself in a variety of materials. At the end of the session you will have a piece of artwork unique to your style and taste. All materials included. No art experience needed, for all skill levels. Light refreshments will be available.

Paint it, Collage it, Frame it Workshop. This is $65pp or $55 if you are a student/communityservices/gold cardholder. In this workshop you will design and paint a rescued/recycled frame. You will then collage a piece to put into the frame. You will take home a piece of artwork you can hang on your wall straight away. Collage is for all skill levels and you will be guided  through the painting. As in our collage workshop you will take a piece of art home that is to your style and taste. This is a four hour workshop. The studio allows you to immerse yourself in a variety of materials. All materials included. No art experience needed, for all skill levels. Light refreshments will be available.

Mixed Media Workshop

This is $65pp or $55 if you are a student/communityservices/gold cardholder. Mixed Media workshop will teach beginning techniques. Such as gold leaf, using tissues and masking. The studio allows you to immerse yourself in a variety of materials. At the end of the session you will have a piece of artwork unique to your style and taste. That you can hang straight on your wall. Have fun catching up with a friend or fly solo! All materials included. No art experience needed, for all skill levels. Light refreshments will be available.

All day collaging workshop. We like to call it 11am until LATE.

This workshop is either $99 or $89 if you are a student/community services/gold cardholder. With a mimimum of 6 and maximum of 14 people. All materials are available including frames and paint. What could be better? All materials included. No art experience needed, for all skill levels. Light refreshments will be available..

Children's Birthday Parties.

All parties have a minimum of 6 and maximum of 14 people and are two hours long. You are welcome to bring along any snacks and cake for the party. And best of all we do all the clean up!!!

Fairy door Party

This workshop is where we will make a fairy door for you to pop in your garden or the local forest. We will be using collage and paint techniques to make these super cute doors that we have purchased from the Menz Shed Kaiapoi. This workshop is for the kiddos. We recommend 4+. At the end of the party each person will have a fairy door that they will be able to pop straight into the garden to make it that little more magical. All materials are provided. No art experience needed, for all skill levels. This workshop is $20pp minimum of 6 and maximum of 14.

Collage and Badge Making Workshop

This workshop we collage a picture. Have fun gluing stcking and making a collage scene. And also making our own suoper cute 58mm badges. This is very popular!! This workshop is $20pp minimum of 6 and maximum of 14.

Small Vase Workshop.

In this workshop we use a rescued glass and paper mache it to make a small vase. We then use the mediums of paint and collage to decorate our vase. This workshop is $25pp minimum of 6 and maximum of 14.
